One of the best steaks I've ever had! Absolutely worth the price! But the highlight of the meal for me, was the dessert. Shaughna's triple chocolate brownie was quintessentially the best dessert I've had in my life! My kudos to the pastry chef. Overall a lovely evening!

We would have definitely given 5 stars except the wine was over priced. The food quality and service was out standing. The consistentcy of the quality of the food and service has been maintained for over 30 years of our experience and I suspect for much longer than that. We would highly recommend

Went there on Friday 27thJune with my Sisters and the food wasn’t great .Both ladies had lettuce in their dishes and it definitely had seen better days .Spoke to the waiter re same and he didn’t give a toss about us or the food .I went for the pulled pork which wasn’t great either .I have been there before and it was excellent so what has happened. Very disappointed as it was a family day out.

27/07/2025: Amazing choice, great service, love the lemon sorbet and flavoured ice cream highly recommended love this place and will be returning regularly to take some home too!

Irish ferries

13/01/2026: We wanted to say Thank you to the very helpful receptionist at the Rosslare ferry terminal. The ferry was delayed but thanks to her help and kindness we were able to make the best of it. From calling a taxi for us, to helping us find a cafe. As very tired travelers from Canada her kindness made all the difference. Along with the lovely locals we meet while waiting in the comfortable waiting area. Only reason for loosing a star is the ferry was very late.full 5 stars for the staff.
04/01/2026: Loveliest and timely crossing. Traveled with dog and facilities were very good. Big shout out to wonderful restaurant staff who went out of their way, really nice people 😊
