La Pausa Caffe in Dublin

Excellent menu, relaxed ambience, really good coffee, great food, service so-so (our tea was completely forgotten about and I had to repeat my order several times and point to menu items as staff couldn't understand - basic order, nothing extraordinary). Still, I would return

We were served by a girl who spoke Spanish and she was wonderful. We felt very welcome.

Coffee was nice, but they got our order wrong. (Probably my accent or I mumbled). Trendy eclectic decor. Good place to start your day.

Lovely unique cafe where lots of love & attention goes into the food through to treatment of customers.

The eggs benedict was beautifully presented and tasted great but was cold as was the Mexican eggs. Been twice and both times the young staff were aloof and surly. No table ordering, as we found out only once we had been sat down a few minutes. However, the coffee (lattes in our case) were fantastic.

The best breakfast we've had in Dublin; if you're in the area, I highly recommend it. It's a bit pricey compared to prices in Spain, but keep in mind that it's more of a brunch than a traditional breakfast... Oh, and the coffee is fantastic!

Very nice spot for food , food is very good and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated.

TL;DR Intriguing, sprawling art all around the cafe that invites you to appreciate it. A cozy setting for a few people inside some warmed outdoor seating possibilities. Ok place to work, great for chit chat. Poor handling of vegan options. Me and my partner went for drinks, casual chit-chat while doing some work on our laptops - for which this was a decent place, though it might not be the place for absolute silence. The drinks themselves were decent, however, getting them was painful. We ordered two warm beverages (Biscoff and Peanut Hot Chocolate) with alternative/vegan milk. Despite us specifying that we wanted vegan drinks, they served us our drinks with whipped cream and marshmallows on top - no mention of these on the menu and we had to return them. The waiter was not even sure whether the cream and marshmallows were vegan... My partner was here before and did not experience this, so hopefully this was a one-off. The service was nice as they apologised for it, re-did our orders - all of this at a very busy time.

La Pausa Caffe is such a lovely spot! The food tasted incredibly fresh, and you can really tell everything is made right in the cafe. The bread was soft and delicious, and the smoothie was absolutely yum. A cozy place with quality food :) definitely worth a visit!
