Excellent service from our waiter Matheo at the la Provence brassiere, his attention to detail, charm and service was nothing short of excellent. The food and wine we had on the night was exceptional to say the least. If you are in athlone I would recommend stopping by to experience it for yourself. Thanks again Matheo.

The selection of food is great. Our daughter enjoyed the pancakes, sausages and bacon. They are all well presented and the overall place is clean and grand. All of the staff is polite and friendly. Risma is very kind and helpful. We will surely be back here summer!

We are coming every year at Christmas time and we’ve always loved our stay here. But sometimes it’s not the place that stays with you, but the people — and Matheo made our Sheraton experience truly special. His kindness, patience, and genuine passion for his work were felt every single day of our stay, from breakfast to dinner he was always there to make our experience the best it could be! The Sheraton is really lucky to have him. Many thanks and I look forward to coming back.

18/01/2026: I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The view from the room was absolutely magical — exactly as I had imagined and hoped for. The room itself was very cozy, elegant, and everything was done to the highest standard with great attention to detail. I would like to give special thanks for the small birthday surprise you organized for my boyfriend. It was incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and it made his special day even more memorable. The restaurant was outstanding — the food was delicious and truly high quality. The service was very polite, professional, and attentive to every detail. A special thank you to our waiter, Mathew, who was exceptionally kind and provided us with an amazing dining experience. The only thing I would like to mention is that the young man working at the reception near the pool behaved somewhat dismissively towards us. I wouldn’t say he was rude, but in a hotel of this level, the attitude should definitely be better. Everything else was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for such an unforgettable experience in such a beautiful place. 5/5 ❤️

16/01/2026: Came for partners 40th meal with family that were visiting from LithuaniaFood was delicious. All the staff were so nice especially Tomas. The beef and Guinness stew was amazing. We will be back soon.
13/01/2026: the customer service and food were excellent, Very friendly staff and classic irish pub. I highly recommend this place.
