La Scarpetta in Skerries

I don't usually like going out to eat pizza but for once I did feel like it - well, we were back for more 2 days later, it was so good! Best pizza base I've ever had, and quality of toppings to match. I even "dared" to order the one with Parma ham (often disappointing) the 2nd time around and I was delighted I did. Also enjoyed the Italian wines. Really friendly staff, warm décor and lightning 👌 Opinion shared by the rest of the party... 3 of whom are quite the discerning French foodies!

The food is alway amazing here. Pasta is cooked fresh and all pizzas are wood fired in-house! Gorgeous interior and very friendly staff. Would always reccomend this restaurant

I’ve been eating here for years but recently I have eaten here about 5 times in 2 months. I think it has improved from good to great in the last few years. The portions are good, the quality of the food is great, the consistency is great, the pizzas are great. I feel that it is a fairly authentic troop to Italian food! Thank you!

Nice food, good menu, excellent service

Lovely food. Highly recommended. Docking 1 star as booked on bank holiday weekend... And they were clearly exhausted near the end of the day which resulted in a slightly slower service which I can forgive given the circumstances but think 4/5 is fair. Pizza done traditionally and looks amazing.

We have been here so many times now. Definitely best pizza in Skerries. Italian ingredients. Pasta is very nice too, real italian food!! I’m italian and La Scarpetta feels like home!

I had the best birthday party no-one could ever plan. Simona & Mario were very accommodating when I decided to celebrate my birthday party in the outside area of the restaurant. They set up a beautiful table area and helped to decorate the place. To me the most important thing about a party is food! and in The Scarpetta food was delicious. Fresh Italian ingredients: we had chicken wings and bruschettas as starters and a variety of homemade pizzas. It was so delicious. Special mention of an amazingly detailed service: thanks Derek.
