La Scarpetta in Skerries

Best restaurant I've been to in a long time. The food is top class. The Parma and Bufala Mozzarella or Pizza Meat Lover for an amazing starter. Great wine menu and an amazing selection of main courses. The pizzas are also some of the best out there. Leah and Derek their service was excellent ! We've been back twice already. La Scarpetta is a MUST visit !

Absolutely fantastic pizza! The dough was perfectly made, the ingredients were fresh. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. If you're looking for great pizza in Skerries, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended, come and try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Brought my wife for a birthday meal on a Tuesday Evening. The place was full of Italian character and the service was fantastic. The food was amazing with a wide range of starters and main courses with a nice desert finish and a Bellini to top it all off. Couldn’t ask for a better experience on a Tuesday night in North County Dublin.

Probably one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever tried! The pizzas were delicious, and being baked in a wood-fired oven really brought out all the flavours, reminding me of my trips to Italy a couple of years ago. The service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely as well. Special kudos to the tiramisu, which was absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for great Italian food. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We arrived early but was seated almost straight away. Service was perfectly timed and delivered brilliantly. The food was beyond gorgeous. Already planning the next trip

We visited La Scarpetta for the first time yesterday at 6:30 pm for dinner with our family. Unfortunately, the service really let the experience down. There appeared to be only two staff members responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, serving tables and handling payments. We waited 40 minutes just to order drinks, and another 15 minutes before we could order our food. We were told they were very busy, but the wait was still excessive. Another disappointment was how the food was served. The dishes arrived one at a time with long gaps in between, so by the time my pizza was brought to the table, everyone else in my family had already finished eating. That’s not the kind of dining experience you expect when eating out together. The food itself was okay, but nothing particularly memorable or exceptional. Overall, I think the restaurant could benefit from having more staff on busy evenings to provide a smoother dining experience. I hope this was just an off night, as there is definitely room for improvement.
