Lagom Restaurant & Accommodation Kenmare in Kenmare

I went to the restaurant on New Year’s Eve 2024. It was recommended by friends of my parents. The food was delicious I was surprised. It was beautifully presented. The staff and atmosphere was great. It may have been a bit loud but the what do u upset on New Year’s Eve in a full restaurant. A great local stable I hope for long. If you’re a picky eater I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m not picky but I am a pescatarian but it had plenty of fish options too, even with the medium menu. The decor is nice and simple.

We stayed above the restaurant for 2 nights and dined at the restaurant on NYE. The food is thoughtful and super delicious, the service was lovely, couldn’t have been more attentive. Altogether probably the best meal we have had in Ireland so far - the chef is clearly very talented. It was the most expensive meal of our trip through just to add so maybe save it for a treat. Rooms really clean, spacious, big comfy bed. Would recommend for sure! Thank you 🙂

Lovely dinner! The set menu was well worth it. Got the soup and fish filet of the day.

We ate in the restaurant and will definitely be back! The food was delicious- very high standard and the wait staff were fantastic- so natural and friendly. Cannot recommend enough!

I arrived ignorant I left a genius. Service was impeccable the team was great (special thanks to Mally). The bread is to die, resurrect and die again for. The fact that the bread and butter is homemade really makes the difference. I took the crab as a starter which was good. I would suggest a ceviche as a starter as well as the local fish is very good and it would suit the crab garnish very well. But the real piece was the meat a good portion of local sirloin. Cook to perfection with an onion tatin that would make Tintin bald. I will comeback and enjoy an other meal.
