I will be thinking about the meal I had here for a long time! Had a burrata starter which was un.real. Then the best gnocchi I've ever had, and for dessert a rhubarb ice cream sandwich of dreams. I was part of a group of about 20 people and the service was faultless. A delicious and memorable experience!

My partner and I had a really lovely meal in Lagom on Saturday night. Fabulous food combined with a warm welcome from servers and chef Brendan alike made for a 10/10 experience.

Really lovely townhouse where there is great attention to detail, from the welcome truffles to the choice of shower gel. The owner is very welcoming and we were also very impressed with the range and quality of the breakfast options.

The room was not the biggest we had ever encountered but it was clean and the windows were sound proofed so the main st traffic noise was not a problem. It has no parking which is made quite clear when booking so it was no surprise and we were luckily able to park outside each night.. The hosts are very affable and professional in their dealing whilst the breakfast is superb. The beef brisket hash with 2 eggs is a gourmet start to the day and certainly better than any other traditional option. It aone is wirththe overnight tariff of 150 E.

Service was amazing, food was the best in 4 years of living in Ireland. Salad, fish, pasta, and beef were all exceptional! The entire experience was superb!

This is a lovely guesthouse on the main street in Kenmare, connected to a nice restaurant. The place was kept in great condition and it was noticeably clean. The beds were very comfy and I didn't find the noise too bad for the main street. The breakfast was excellent (above the standard). The only comment I'd have is that the parking situation isn't ideal with the nearest public park a bit of potluck and not the most organised carpark.

This was one of the best places we stayed at on our trip around Ireland. Rick Steve's hit the nail on the head. This is the place to stay in Kenmare!

27/04/2025: We were there yesterday and sat outside on the terrace with our dog - the weather wasn't ideal, but we had our dog with us and wanted to have her with us too. That wasn't a problem either. The staff was very friendly and even brought us a dog bowl with water, which our dog gratefully accepted. One of us went in to order and a waiter brought our food out pretty quickly. The food was delicious and plentiful. Accordingly, the slightly higher price was completely justified. It was quite crowded and loud inside, so we had a lot more peace outside. We didn't make a reservation either and just thought we'd give it a try as we drove past.
22/02/2025: We had a lovely meal here while staying at the hotel. Our meal was delicious, and the service was friendly and fast. As you can see from the photos, I really enjoyed the pork ribs :-)

Boxed Kenmare

10/06/2025: Nice work Lily and Co. This place was perfect after a long day driving the Ring of Kerry. Great food and amazing service. Even got a red Peroni which I've not enjoyed until today. Bostons north end...eat your heart out. EAT HERE!!!
