Absolutely wonderful food – compliments to the chef! The tacos trio were bursting with flavour, (my fav was the chicken)the cheeseburger was juicy and perfectly cooked with juicy beef tomato sliced perfect, and those chunky chips were next level. We'll definitely be back!

have stayed here twice now recently. last minute and work related both times. cannot praise this hotel enough. staff are totally fantastic. anytime a staff member would pass you they would greet you and ask how you were doing even if n not involved in your service. food is exceptional on my opinion. would highly recommend this hotel and that's without mentioning the views and the sunset looking over the lake

Really nice hotel, very friendly staff and the food is good. Scenic views overlooking Lough Ramor (where?). Decor is a little dated and lift not working - it probably needs a little work. I think I said I'd like to buy it.

Stayed in the Lakeside Manor Hotel last night for a family members Birthday drinks just 7 of us and we had a brilliant time. The staff were lovely especially Grace behind the bar who was serving us all last night she was so nice and so friendly made us really all feel so welcome. It really makes a difference when there is nice staff so that was fantastic. The rooms are really nice clean and spacious and the breakfast was very good. The views from the hotel are beautiful too so id highly recommend anyone to stay at the Lakeside if your looking for a nice welcome spot. Hopefully visit again soon .

Was there only for a function and wasn't able to book a room there probably because I say close by, but the service was top nouch and would love to stay there for the weekend in future...the view is breathtaking 😊

I attended a family birthday party on Saturday evening. The tables were laid out and decorated so beautifully it almost looked like a wedding. The staff were very attentive and efficient. The food was 10/10. Normally when I go somewhere and ask for my meat to be cooked well done it always has pink in it and I end up eating around it, but here the chef cooked it perfectly and I was able to enjoy a really delicious meal. After dinner the hotel laid on a Karaoke singer which just added to the great atmosphere on what was a brilliant night. I will definitely come again.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was beautiful we ate dinner and had breakfast the next morning. Good choice for breakfast also. Place is spotless clean everywhere. Beautiful location right on the lake. Bedroom was a little bit dated with mismatch furniture. Our room was right beside the door to corridor so banged all night with people coming and going. Also didn’t like the shower it was an accessible one and it was very awkward to get in and out of as it had a shower curtain too? There was no obvious sign for reception when we arrived from the car park. Although We enjoyed our overnight stay 💙

26/06/2025: If you get a chance to stop here, take it. What a wonderful stop on the way back from Sligo. On the banks of the Royal canal, the place was humming on a Friday evening and we almost didn’t get to stay without a reservation but we happily found some seats at the bar. The food was simply gorgeous. Elevated pub grub with chowder, steaks (cooked incredibly well) salads and burgers. Huge menu. Staff were really attentive and very friendly. I’d go out of my way to atop here again and next time I’ll make sure I have a reservation.
16/06/2025: The steak is excellent, cannot fault it! Quality of the meat is great, portions are very generous (fillet steak), everything very fresh, and really reasonable prices. Service is good. The kids menu is worth a mention, I was able to get a plain piece of chicken and some unsalted chips for my toddler and paired it with a salad. Was impressed as kids menus can sometimes be mostly processed food. We had banoffee pie to finish off - it was decent too, but the steak was by far the star of the show. Lovely to sit outside when the weather is nice.
