Visiting Lakeside Manor very often, very friendly staff. Great food.

Just stopped for dinner 🍽 my wife had chicken, which was good, and I had Chowder. Well, that's what I asked for waterer soup with nearly no vegetables in it rubbery prawns and salmon no other fish. I often have sea food Chowder, but this was the worst I ever had.

I attended a family birthday party on Saturday evening. The tables were laid out and decorated so beautifully it almost looked like a wedding. The staff were very attentive and efficient. The food was 10/10. Normally when I go somewhere and ask for my meat to be cooked well done it always has pink in it and I end up eating around it, but here the chef cooked it perfectly and I was able to enjoy a really delicious meal. After dinner the hotel laid on a Karaoke singer which just added to the great atmosphere on what was a brilliant night. I will definitely come again.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was beautiful we ate dinner and had breakfast the next morning. Good choice for breakfast also. Place is spotless clean everywhere. Beautiful location right on the lake. Bedroom was a little bit dated with mismatch furniture. Our room was right beside the door to corridor so banged all night with people coming and going. Also didn’t like the shower it was an accessible one and it was very awkward to get in and out of as it had a shower curtain too? There was no obvious sign for reception when we arrived from the car park. Although We enjoyed our overnight stay 💙

Food is great value and tasty, view is best you can get. Extra marks for opening their doors to help locals after storm Eowyn.

Absolutely love everything about this hotel. This was our 4th stay. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Food is fantastic at good prices. Entertainment was good, would highly recommended it.
