Food has been great and service last few years. Staff are so sound. I would knock a star off for atmosphere as there isn't anything inside it's just outdoor seating which isn't fair to review on. It's a business making great food with what they have available with the space and so accommodating staff and service wise.

The pancakes are delicious and you can also add duck meat. This is a great idea. Compared with London, it’s a bit expensive.

Give it a try. I love the fact it opens at 10:30 am instead of 12 pm compared to most fastfood restaurants.

I got Spicy Mix and it wasn’t the best value for money, the box was half empty and it was almost €12. Chicken was tasty and fries were ok but unfortunately that was not enough food for that price, and way too much onion. Might try their Jianbing in the future.

Best boba in Cork. I personally like fruit tea so that's what I get. I had boba at other places and they always seem to put lemon or lime slices into the tea which kind of changes the flavor, Laodao doesn't do that. I love them for that

I haven't been in Cork for the longest time, I've been travelling the world. But I've been having the biggest cravings for this jianbing the last few weeks, I can't wait to reunite. 我爱你的中国菜

14/10/2024: Very welcoming bar cosy and traditional. Great atmosphere love the place, drink good and reasonable priced. Bus stop outside the door so no worry's about transport. Highly recommend.

The Pie Guys

21/01/2025: Ireland is greatly lacking in places where you can get a decent pie. First time at the Black Market so decided to try these guys. I had the Beef & Beamish pie meal (side of mash with some slaw & salad). The pie was delicious and the mash was smooth and creamy. Service was fast and I liked that the packaging was recyclable. A little pricey for what it is but will definitely go back.
21/10/2024: I was in Cork for a day trip and came across The Pie Guys in the black market totally by accident. Situated in a really cool building with other food vendors I was immediately impressed by the vibe of the market . More importantly in The Pie Guys ,the Cheesy kiwi Pie, mash and slaw was the best pie and mash i have ever had !The presentation and taste were top class. You have to try this place, you won’t be disappointed.I look forward to visiting again on my next visit to Cork : )
