L'Art du Chocolat in Maynooth

All I can say is Heavenly! We ordered a carrot cake from L'Art du Chocolate for our friend's birthday and it was truly the most divinely gorgeous carrot cake any of us had ever had!! From the smooth chocolate mixed into the icing poured over the delectable cake filling topped with beautiful writing was the best birthday present we could have given her!! Just incredible! Thank you❤️

Such a great spot for gorgeous coffee, real hot chocolate and a delicious, genuinely homemade and fresh treat. Chocolate and coconut brownie was perfection 👌

It’s a lovely cafe with really friendly staff and nice coffee. However, paying €5.90 for a coffee is too extortionate a price for me to visit again.

Unfortunately I have to edit my feedback I left a year ago. Since that time I have ordered 3 occasional cakes there with individual texting for the each cake. The all cakes were nice and tasty but for two of them they didn't make the texting as ordered. First time I accepted this. But when the situation repeated I considered this as uncompleted order. The reason was "our chef was sick and he wasn't able to come and make a text". So the baker had enough skills to bake the cake in time but he/she wasn't able to make a text? Or do they reorder the cakes somewhere? Because the cake was unpersonalised I asked if I can cancel the order and leave the cake for being sold in their bakery, because our occasion was rescheduled. I wouldn't have asked about this if the cake had being personalized, but it wasn't. The lady manager was nice and very polite, she tried to do her best to help. But the chef talked to me by phone emotionally and I can't consider the conversation style and tone as acceptable. After being their client for 4 years I was very disappointed by this treatment. _________________________ 2023: My favourite place in Maynooth! We are blessed to have such a nice French style cafe with the best hot chocolate, delicious macaroons and other deserts here. The service is always good and staff are very kind and friendly.
