Location and breakfast were both highlights. Just make sure you get a room with an outside view.

Lovely friendly staff, brilliant live music in the bar. Rooms are compact, clean and quiet. Tasty breakfast. Very close to all Galway has to offer.

This hotel is a great location especially for the price. It fit our needs perfectly. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Close to the train station and the square, within walking distance to shops and Latin Quarter. We paid for the breakfast one morning and it was okay. Found other breakfasts we liked better for about the samw price and other days we just didn't need as much so we went to other cafes for smaller meals at a lower cost.

Clean and respectable hotel in the heart of Galway city. The location doesn’t get better. Some of restaurant and bar staff need a bit of training in hospitality, not very accommodating or friendly.

Location cannot be beat. The hotel is so conveniently located right by Eyre square and to the shopping and restaurants/pubs. The hotel is older but all common areas and my room were clean, the breakfast that was included with my rate was great. The service was absolutely outstanding - I wish I had taken down the name of the really lovely front desk person who took the time to give me directions to sights, how to get to belfast, and restaurant options (long red hair lady) Also, please ensure to do a walking tour with a local guide as soon as you can on day 1 when you arrive - this is a MUST. There is so much info that I learned during the walking trip! In the hotel lobby, there is a brochure for a local walking guide service - I cannot recommend this enough. My tour was with Kathleen and she was fantastic, she's so friendly, knowledgeable and had great stories to share. You just show up by the statue at Eyre Square of Padraic O Conaire at either of the scheduled times 10am or 2pm (the statue of the man sitting down in the ctr of the square)

Very good service, right in the center, easy access, 1 block from the bus station, the staff spoke Spanish, delicious food, love the place

We had an excellent stay at the Eyre Square Hotel. The staff were very friendly and resourceful. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast service was delicious. The hotel is in a great spot and within walking distance to most spots in Galway City.

Stayed in Room 413 (twin). Having a portable fan in that room was fabulous. Good sized eaves window with blackout curtain that worked surprisingly well. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful cafe/sports bar/restaurant. Excellent service. Would stay again!
