Lemon Tree in Letterkenny

We ate here for the first time in October 2024. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the impeccable service. Excellent value for money and the standard of food is the best experienced in a very long time. This is a must visit if in County Donegal. The beef cheeks and monkfish mains were superb.

Superb food, starters mains and puddings, All 4 diner's chose different ones, tasting each other's choices. All agreed everything was lovely. The wine list was extensive and fairly priced. The Lemon Tree is not cheap, but rightly so. One you should not miss when in Letterkenny

Everything is good except the taste of the dishes. The lamb had too strong a smell which spoiled the taste.

Went off a recommendation from our Air bnb owner With an hours drive each way it was quite a punt Set in the unlikely situation of being attached to a shopping centre we were a little unsure We were unsure when we first walked in as a sprawling family occupied one of the large tables ; but then things improved! The food and menu were lovely; I had the roast squash ; sea bass and Christmas pudding panna cotta A very friendly and welcoming team Was worth the trip !

Great food, nice atmosphere. One of the few restaurants in Donegal that I would recommend for a night out. I’m a vegetarian but there was plenty to choose from the menu.
