Best fine dining restaurant in Donegal by far

We dined here last night and the standard of food was exceptional. The service was impressively fast without ever feeling rushed. Before our main courses, we were treated to two well presented amuse bouches, followed by fresh bread served with honey and treacle butter which was so good. Every member of staff worked well together and very polite A special thank you to Linda, who was very friendly and welcoming. She could tell how much I loved dessert and even shared a few great tips, a nice personal touch that really stood out. Very cheap for the calibre of food. I can’t wait to return.

The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous — elegant, warm, and perfectly inviting. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh ingredients and real care. Customer service was just as impressive. The team was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. A special mention has to go to Richard, whose warmth and enthusiasm made our experience even more memorable. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Obrigada, Ricardo! Overall, it was a flawless dining experience — exceptional food, wonderful service, and a stunning atmosphere. Fabulous food from a local favorite. Lovely interior yet comfortable. Family run and friendly. The lamb and beef were beautifully spiced with great vegetables. Charming potato sides. Vegetable soup was delicate and rich. Priced well for the quality of food and experience. Looks so normal from the outside! Parking is in an old structure across the street.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, the atmosphere was great and the food was incredible. For starters I got the Pork Hash, and my partner got the Beef Ragu. Both were nothing short of delicious. For main course again the food was divine and the steak was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was very busy, so I would recommend booking in advance, especially on a Saturday Absolutely delightful experience, will definitely be back!
