Stopped in on my trip to Ireland and listened to a group of guys having a music session. They were really good. Bartender were also friendly.

Would have liked to stay longer but there were young children past 8pm sitting at the bar with their parents. I didn't expect kids to be allowed late in a cocktail bar on a Saturday night... kinda ruined the vibe. Otherwise cool spot.

Vibes and energy were lovely, went form quiet 3 people in pub to a bunch of younger people salsa dancig for about an hour Interesting cocktail menu. Not like menu online

A great little cocktail bar, its very small on the inside, we went here for NYE and it was extremely overcrowded. They had a dj playing but it took close to 15 minutes to get one drink so unless you have a table, might not be suitable for a quick drink. The music was great and so were the vibes, just wish it was bigger on the inside.

05/09/2025: I spent an exceptional evening at McLaughlin's Bar - the people, music (trad session), drinks and the venue itself were just amazing! I'll never forget it. 100% recommended! If you're in Sligo it's a MUST. It felt so authentic and I was stunned by the Irish hospitality. Thanks so much to everyone, especially to Myriam :)
