I have to say I can’t think of one part of the experience that was less than 5 stars. The staff were kind and cheery. The food was superb. I started with the crispy black pepper calamari which was perfect and well seasoned. I find that if you get a bad calamari it can be rubbery but this was far from that. For my main course I had the salmon wellington which was really light and flavourful. The salmon was tender and well seasoned. The pastry was in no way soggy, it was crispy and light. The potatoes were thinly sliced and coated in a garlic sauce. It was accompanied by asparagus and carrot which was soft and cooked perfectly. For my desert I had the apple and berry crumble which was a crumble pie with mouth watering apple and berry inside on the side of the plate was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and berry compot. The overall experience was 5 stars and the food was 5 stars. Highly recommend

A visit to the lobster pot never disappoints. Usually I would go for the sea food as the quality can not be beaten, but decided to have a large portion of wings and was not disappointed. Juicy wings with duffalo sauce with just a slight kick to it.
The service is head above the rest, perfect balance of professional and personal
The Guinness is beautiful as well, I'll sample a few more of those when I am in the area again

6 of us were here on Saturday for the 8.15pm sitting. A lovely traditional pub with a cosy, homely restaurant. Not an empty table to be seen.
The young lady serving us couldn't have been more attentive.
The owner even presented to our table to take my untouched pint away and top it up. This is a rarity nowadays and demonstrates the attention and level of customer service at the Lobster Pot.
We all had a main and dessert. Nothing could be faulted. I had the beef cheeks that were melt in the mouth although I did have food envy when I clocked one of my parties pork belly serving.
The fish looked amazing and the brownies was devilishly moreish.
A great experience from start to finish.
First-class pub/tavern
We ate at the Lobster Pot on our last day of our Ireland vacation from Wexford.
The reviews persuaded us to make the 25-minute drive, and it was totally worth it.
We had Caesar's Salad and Lemon Chicken in Pie for starters, and two fish and chips for main courses.
Everything tasted great and there was plenty of it.
The fish and chips were the best we've eaten in our 17-day trip to Ireland.
Super crispy breading, extremely hot, delicious fries, and a first-class tartar sauce.
A huge compliment to the chef.
The staff is very polite and attentive, and the pub's decor is in a class of its own.
An absolute recommendation!!!
Wonderful venue. Excellent service and super food.
