Always wanted to try here. I usually eat out. But I found alot of places don't care anymore. The price is within the pricing range of most prices. The food was delicious and fresh. Visited today with my son and partner. I ordered the homemade burger and chips. And I'm glad I did. I love a good homemade burger. And I never eat a burger in anywhere in Kildare because they just don't be really homemade. I usually go to dash burger in town. But this actually reminded me a bit like dash burger. You could tell straight away this was freshly prepared. The chips omg the best around. My son loved his burger too. And the potato skins were the far best IV tasted. The other half had the chicken supreme and I had a Taste was lovely the gravy so so good. Deserts I skipped as I just had a full tummy, but the waiter did give an extra spoon 👌and I tasted my son's brownie. And the way he was eating it you would think he had never ate . He wolved it down. He said mam that was the best brownie ever 10/10 and I would agree. Service was good , loved the atmosphere you could have chats with no crazy music. Table service was friendly. Keep doing what you are doing. And we will be back.

1st time in the lock 13 and I will definitely be back the food was fab amd the staff was so friendly they are so welcoming can't wait to go back 😊

Nice spot! Staff are kind. Menu changed a bit to keep fresh and keep you coming back! Food is consistent. Pints are nice although personally not a fan of brewed stuff but I have tried one or two and overall not bad!

We have visited many times and the food is typically very tasty and consistently of a very high quality. Due to the fact that we have always enjoyed our visits, we have not taken much note of the price! Staff are very friendly. We visited yesterday evening and really noticed a difference. Food was slow to arrive and the portion size was almost half what we normally received. Staff still very pleasant but with such small portion sizes, we reviewed the cost and yes, agreed that it was expensive for what we received. I ordered my favourite desert and have had it in the past but I'm not exactly what was served, it looked like a very small (bought in) almond tart. It Bore no resemblance to a creme brulee. So very disappointing, desert was inedible. We notified the guy who was taking payment, no apology, just said he'd take the cost of the desert from the bill which my husband had requested. So disappointed as this was our go to restaurant any time we were out to dinner.

Kadie who served us was an absolute credit to Lock 13, she has amazing customer service and is so kind. The food was absolutely amazing, we definitely will be back very soon!
