Lok Moon in Dublin

I've been ordering from this chinese for at least 20 years, and I miss the lovely young lady who used to take orders over the phone, now answered by a very stressed, gruff man. However, the food has always been consistently very good and always hot. Orders always very quick, will not change

Ratio of batter to chicken in chicken balls was 10:1. Curry sauce nice but very salty. Solid but not great.

Having lived the locality for a number of years now, I have tended to avoid / disregard this outlet of asian cuisine, following an initial unsatisfactory experience. But I decided to return this evening to give another chance, as it came recommended by revered food critic, R.H. Smyth. Smyth has refined his pallet through years of asian dining in places like Walkinstown, Crumlin, Terenure, Templeogue, Tallaght and further a field. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised and will now add Lok Moon back into regular rotation. In the words of another great food critic... A+++.

Pedimos escoger una mezcla de fideos, albóndigas de pollo y otros trozos. Sus bolas de pollo han cambiado y ya no contienen la cantidad sustancial de pollo que era solo rebozar con un poco de pollo en la punta de los dedos. Sus chips picantes eran de buen tamaño y sabor. El costo también ha aumentado y la calidad se ha reducido. Llevan 30 años haciendo pedidos y han notado el descenso en los últimos tiempos.

Only found this place a few weeks ago the food is so tasty my new fav place to order from I would not recommend any where else the staff are friendly and the food is 👌I’d recommend the tofu, the house specials and yuk sung 👌

I've had lok moon many times over the course of my life and have often found the food to be inconsistent, like it was a different takeaway each time. However, the last few times I've ordered the food has been great, from black beans (my favourite) to their duck, to their much improved spice bag. It's a spot I'll be returning to a more going forward.

Its a 5 from me, they threw me a few prawn crackers, great bunch of lads
