Longcourt House Hotel in Newcastle west

We ate here on Wednesday night when we had no power at home. The staff at the longcourt deserve great praise for how they managed some extremely busy days when esb networks offered a hot meal with dessert and hot beverage to those who were without power for a few days. It was extremely busy when we arrived at 5pm and were seated immediately and had only a short wait before getting served delicious food from start to finish. Even though the staff had a very busy day , they were all so pleasant and very efficient. It was very short notice for them to cater for such a high volume and they were absolutely fantastic. We cannot praise them enough. Fair play to everyone involved.

We stopped here for dinner on a Sunday evening, we didn't have a reservation but they happily fit us in. Service was good, staff were friendly. It was clean and tidy and the security man at the front door was polite and friendly. The kids commented after that the goujons were a bit dry but apart from that it was all good. During our meal, a member of staff came to inform us that there was a story telling session in another room of the hotel if our daughter wanted to join, it was such a nice gesture.

Perfect location for a night out in Newcastle west, friendly staff, very helpful. Breakfast was 10/10

I attended a linedance function in your hotel last night, everything was lovely, Christmas decorations were fab and I was delighted you have kept the tradition of displaying the crib, so many places have shyed away from that 👏 , staff were so helpful and friendly.

From the time we entered the hotel on the friday we were looked after so well food fantastic from staff to management we were looked after so well lovely set up for Christmas 🎄 rooms very comfortable we had afternoon tea 🍵 it was my friend birthday 🎂 absolutely lovely best afternoon tea we had in a long time a big shout out to Nora at the reception she was helpful really nice woman glad to have meet Nora 😊 I would recommend this hotel 🏨 Joan and maria 😀 looking forward to our next stay 😀

Had lovely retirement party thanks to siobhan and staff for excellent customer.Food was amazing lovely ambience in function room. Highly recommend this hotel

Good value for money rooms, the reception staff are friendly, meals are good and reasonably priced, restaurant staff are attentive and friendly

I visit the place regularly for food. It's reasonably priced and the food is always nice. There is great event nights held here with something different for everyone. The location is conveniently set in the town and it has a great bar, restaurant facilities and several function rooms for all occasions. They also have great parking facilities. One tip is to always make reservations for dining as it is a popular place.
