Lough inn in

We had a fabulous time at the Lough Inn. We tried the tasting menu and every course was generous and delicious. Our anticipation before each course was met with pure satisfaction and Thomas and Ann were lovely hosts. Thomas provides a real culinary experience which I would highly recommend.

Had such a lovely evening here. We went for the six-course tasting menu and honestly, every single dish was gorgeous — full of flavour and beautifully done. The French-style food was amazing from start to finish. The service was really friendly and made us feel so welcome. We also had a beautiful wine which topped it all off. Just a really nice, relaxed night with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.

Found completely by chance on the side of the road. Despite the late hour and a full dining room, the chef kindly agreed to welcome us. What followed was, without any doubt, the best meal of our entire stay in Ireland. Refined, thoughtful cuisine, beautifully executed, with vegetables grown on site — fresh, seasonal, and full of flavor. A true culinary surprise and a memorable experience. Highly recommended.

We’ve traveled extensively and eaten in some of the top restaurants around the world, and our meal at Lough Inn was unquestionably one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Chef Thomas is a culinary artist, and clearly cares deeply about ensuring his guests have a memorable experience while dining with him. We were there with a party of 10, including a lactose-free vegetarian and two children. Everyone one of us was thrilled with what was offered, and even our pickiest eaters can’t wait to go back. We are all torn between wanting to shout praises from the highest hills so everyone can enjoy this amazing food and service, or keeping it a secret so we can easily get a table whenever we want. But mostly, we just want to make sure Lough Inn is successful so we can always have top quality dining experiences without having to fly to Paris. Co. Mayo is incredibly lucky to have such a treasure!

Had the most amazing meal here last night. The chef 👨‍🍳 is absolutely fantastic and takes such pride in the food he makes. Staff were fantastic also. Cannot wait to return.

Great atmosphere, one of the best meals I had in a long time. Food is made from they own grown vegetables. All organic. The staff very polite. Chef is a master chef . Every single dish was made with perfection 👌, love and mastery.

This place charging €10 for a pint of Guinness. Twice the price it is everywhere else. Disgraceful!
