Louie's in Kilkenny

We had brunch at Louie’s yesterday and it was wonderful ! The food was very good, the place is beautiful and the staff extremely kind. We will definitely go back next time we are in Kilkenny!

Fantastic spot when stopping in town with the Wild Rover Tours, as it is just down from the castle. Food was excellent, served quickly, friendly staff.

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Had the Club sandwich with chips and my wife had the smoked salmon bagel. All the food was well presented. The chips and smoked salmon bagel were very good, but the club sandwich was only OK. Would not order it again. Menu said it had chicken and bacon on it. Found a few thin bacon slices hiding under a slice of lovely tomato. Paper thin. Literally. I had expected proper real bacon at least 1mm in thickness. The chicken breast seemed to have been boiled, not fried or cooked. It was devoid of taste and flavour. But the side salad was tasty and the chips were lovely and came salted. Staff were very good and my coffee (Americano) was good. Lovely venue and we had a great window seat to watch the world go by. Prices were reasonable for Kilkenny. They advertise Tapas on weekend evenings so maybe that would be a better selection. Seemed very popular with local ladies and wine was prominent on many tables. Perhaps wine and desert is a better option.🤷🏼

Great drinks and lunch, highly recommended

A place that from the outside does not convey the beautiful atmosphere of the interior. The waffles are delicious, the best I've had in Ireland.

Bar/pub also very popular with locals and where you can get to know their courtesy and friendliness. Excellent cocktails and a wide choice of beers on tap.

Very nice place. I was surprised by the good assortment of French wines.. competent and polite, and knowledgeable staff, I hope this will be my favorite cafe., well done 👏

Popped in here for a cup of coffee, and was so impressed with the delicious coffee, menu choices, and high quality of food. But, what was even better was the friendly and accommodating waitstaff, kind and attentive, and they made us feel very welcomed, they turned a quick stop into a very memorable first meal in Ireland. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely café with outside seating. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the soup with treacle bread. The French waiter was extremely pleasant and helpful.
