Louie's in Kilkenny

A lovely find for tapas and wine! The staff were very attentive and friendly, had a nice conversation with one of the girls, they were happy to accommodate our dog (we sat outside). The food was superb, we had fish tacos, mushroom sourdough, chicken skewers and pork sliders with patatas bravas, the wine list was excellent and we chose a very nice Alberino. 10/10!

The food was great, but service was a bit slow.

Very slow with service, considering we just ordered tea and coffee. Had to ask for knife,and butter for scone which took them an age to heat. Previous staff members much more efficient .

After a morning tour of Kilkenny Castle we stopped into Louie’s Cafe for brunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy. Would definitely recommend brunch here if you are visiting Kilkenny!

Lovely venue, great food & nice staff

Gorgeous little quirky/chic bar, loved the ambiance. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this place for a coffee or a drink

We popped in here for night cap of a cocktail and I have to say it was one of the nicest! Highly recommend d the Picante! The staff were so friendly and really know how to shake up a super cocktail. Lovely ambience and look forward to going back.

We spent a wonderful evening here after having lunch. We asked the waiter to recommend a sweet white wine to complement the meal we just had. He did not disappoint! With two options put forward to us we were gifted the chance to sample both wines before choosing. Excellent service and attention to detail and a very impressive selection of wines to suit all tastes.
