Lucky Tortoise Temple Bar in Dublin

OMG the food here is incredible delicious, full of flavour🤤, we had kimchi, dumplings, okonomiyaki 🤤🤩 steamed bao buns, the miso soup🤤🤩, and everything was delicious, I think my favourite is the okonomoyaki and the kitchen, also the dumplings, and the miso soup😅, is hard to choose tbh. But definitely come back to keep trying more food. The staff was so kind and helpful as well✨️

25 of us headed down for a dumpling making class , could not recommend this place enough ! We all had a great time and so much fun , something different to do in Dublin! Big shout out to Clara and Itamar , their service was impeccable and we’re so helpful and friendly !

Amazing food. First time trying Korean or Japanese food and was very impressed. An unassuming little restaurant, but it’s all about the food. 😋 yum yum.

I organised a group booking for dumpling making class (which includes a drink and meal including the dumplings you make) for a friend's hen party. The group had an amazing time, the vibe was fun and relaxed, the staff were super and the food was great. There were a nice variety of fillings to suit different tastes. I'd highly recommend for a group looking for something different in the city.

Fantastic food and the absolute best vibes! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​Had a brilliant experience at Lucky Tortoise in Temple Bar! The food was absolutely great, but what really made the night was the incredible service. The staff are super friendly, always greeting you with a genuine smile and bringing nothing but positive energy to the table. ​The overall vibe of the place is wonderful. It can get a bit loud and buzzy when it’s completely full, but the acoustics weren't an issue at all - we were still able to hear and understand each other perfectly. I'll definitely be coming back here again soon!

I’d highly recommend Lucky Tortoise. We went for the dumpling workshop and were completely blown away by the experience. They teach you around 4–5 different dumpling-folding styles, and they also have vegetarian options. It’s such a fun activity, making dumplings while relaxing, chatting, and sipping drinks. What surprised us even more was how amazing the food afterwards was: the kimchi rice, crispy okonomiyaki, and scallion pancakes were all absolutely delicious. And of course, our own dumplings which started off looking a bit sad were beautifully steamed and turned into little works of art. Such a unique and fun thing to do. Another nice surprise was that the best dumpling maker wins a gift voucher!

Lovely service! We didn’t have a reservation, but were quickly seated and ordered with ease. Veggie tempura was excellent! The atmosphere was a bit loud, but that was mostly from other happy customers.

My experience was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order, so Clara, who served me, suggested the Chicken Katsu Curry. I told her I wasn’t really a fan of curry, but she and Chef Ita, convinced me that I would change my perception of it. I accepted the recommendation and was honestly surprised! The curry was very mild and flavorful. Impeccable service, great food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth it!

I visited on a Wednesday evening. The pork ramen featured a rich and flavorful broth; however, the noodles were slightly clumped together, which made them somewhat difficult to eat. The donburi was particularly enjoyable, with well-prepared pork and rice, and the accompanying salad offered a pleasant hint of spice.
