I really liked the place and the food. We got our order to go. We had two burgers — one was the biggest one, and the other was the Hawaiian. We also got some potato chips. Everything was very tasty, filling, and fresh. The service was lovely. The staff were very nice. We’ll definitely come back.

Love the chips here and the €7 special including the chips, soft drink and two large battered sausages. The women working there, a motley bunch, are class. Love them 😊

11/10/2025: I have been eating in Donkey Fords for years. The battered sausages are the best battered sausages in Limerick and for that alone, I will definitely be back. The chips are very nice too but as I said above, the battered sausages are the nicest. Went in at 19:20 and was out 2 minutes later. The ladies on the counter are very friendly and do their job well. I will definitely be back here again
