Lyrath Estate Hotel in

The hotel is beautiful, warm athmosphere and the staff are great! A big thanks to our Barman Cormac, he made our night! Also Arthur in the Yew restaurant was an absolute sweetheart and Shadi in the spa made me feel welcome and comfortable ❤️

We stayed in the Luxury Suite and the suite was fantastic, far and above the nicest I've stayed in, in Ireland. The estate grounds are lovely but once you walk a few hundred meters on the trail it turns into just walking in a field in grass, which in Ireland, means wet muddy shoes 50+% of the year. Some paving there is essential. The bar was a terrible let down. I ordered a whiskey sour and it was relatively poor. I then ordered a Redbreast 12 and it smelled and tasted like perfume. The bar man agreed, threw the bottle out and replaced my drink with an alternative but this turned my stomach and I just slowly sipped the drink for the rest of the night as I didn't want to risk another. The band were hands down the worst musicians I've ever heard in my life. They took classics that should be guaranteed winners and really butchered them. The gym is a real token effort, it's essentially a small home gym area and if there was more than 4 or 5 people there it'd be very tight. Overall the hotel doesn't compare to other 5 star resorts I've stayed at in terms of atmosphere/bar and, is in fact, beat out by many 4 star venues. However, the rooms are lovely and the location is very picturesque.

Absolutely loved out recent stay in Lyrath. When we arrived we were immediately given a warm welcome by every staff member we met. Lovely calm atmosphere around the hotel. Our room was beautiful and beds were so comfortable, couldn't fault it. We ate both nights in the Grill restaurant, highly recommend, food was lovely and again, staff were great. Very conveniently located near Kilkenny city. Highly recommend.

While the hotel is gorgeous, the staff is very kim and the place is clean, my favorite part was watching the dogs wander through looking for the sunny spot on the floor! I wish I took a photo!!

Great, classy hotel. Beautiful location and stunning architecture. Great food and drink. Hope to actually stay there soon.

Went to a conference here. It's was great and the facilities were great. I'd like to go back for the hotel experience.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff

At a weddimg here and stayed 2 nights. Lovely hotel. Only complaint which was not a deal breaker was havimg to queue for toaster at breakfast which was also slow and threw out burnt toast due to high heat with everybody using it. I think toast could be brought to the table with the tea. Otherwise wonderful hotel and wedding was fab. Lovely food and very efficient service.

It's a beautiful place, but very expensive. Was recently at a wedding and cost €8-9 for a pint. I didn't stay in the hotel that night my mother did. I saw her room was nice and modern but again it was expensive for the one night.
