Ma Murphy's in Bantry legal town

Stopped in for two drinks early in the afternoon, but it lacked any real atmosphere—felt more like a waiting room than a bar, with people quietly whispering to each other. That was in the main bar area. I did check out the space out back, and I can see how it might appeal to others, especially in better weather. That said, after visiting several spots in Bantry, this wouldn't be at the top of my list if I were to return.Staff were nice.

What can one say? It's the real deal as far as traditional irish pubs go. I've never had food here though, just drink.
