25/02/2026: Fast Al’s was exactly what we needed after the pub — quick, hot pizza in our hands within minutes. Can’t fault the speed at all. The slice was tasty, greasy in the best possible way, and absolutely demolished on the walk home. Proper late-night fuel. Now… was it slightly dodgy? Yes. Did that stop us? Absolutely not. The only real disappointment of the night was discovering that the man behind the counter was not, in fact, Alan. My friend even asked him straight out if his name was Alan. He said no. Honestly, that shook us a bit. When you call a place Fast Al’s, you expect Al himself to be there, passionately firing out pizzas at record speed. It feels like the whole concept is built around Alan making pizza as fast as he can for you. Still, identity crisis aside, the pizza did the job. Quick, tasty, slightly questionable — everything you want at the end of a night out. Would go again. Might ask for Al.
