Mai Fitz in Lissarda

We ate here on a winter Saturday night. It was so cosy and the atmosphere was lovely. We both had a steak sandwich which was the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had! Apple crumble was delicious also! Service was brilliant. Will be back again 😊

I journey to Cork monthly, on return to Kerry I stop at Mia Fitz's. Superb food, consistent prices and the staff are friendly.

Good food, fair atmosphere, fresh ingredients

Mai Fitzs Bar is such an amazing place to visit and have some great food. We were fortunate to be given this place to try by our host when staying not far down the road. The food is so good, service outstanding, and such a welcoming atmosphere. They had by far the best seafood chowder on our 11 day trip in Ireland. Can't wait for the next trip to get another bowl, or two!

If you are anywhere within 20km of Macroom, take a detour if you want EXCELLENT food served by professional friendly staff, and a great local vibe! This is the best menu we have seen in some time. It is VAST by comparison to what's generally available, especially since C19. There were a group of 6 of us and each dish was perfect. There is no named dish for vegetarians but a consult with staff will deliver a good choice. We will be back. Well done Mai Fitz!

Loved this restaurant. We stopped here on our return from cork and gals we did. I had the chicken salad, So delicious!! Staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations. Friends got other dishes such as the carbonara, beef burger and soup and we were all satisfied. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family.
