We had the pleasure of dining at Mai Fitz in Lissarda recently for a family dinner, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. As a family of four, we were looking for a welcoming atmosphere, and Mai Fitz delivered on all fronts, exceeding our expectations.
From the moment we walked in, the service was truly exceptional. The staff were attentive, incredibly friendly, and brilliant with the children—making us feel genuinely valued and looked after throughout the meal.
The food was the absolute star of the show. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The main courses were hearty and delicious, and the desserts were a fantastic finish. This is proper, comforting, and high-quality pub dining at its best. If you're looking for great food and even better service in a lovely setting, Mai Fitz is the place to go. We'll definitely be back soon!
Stopped for lunch on our way back from Cork. Promptly sat down and brought water whilst we checked the menu and daily specials. The food was superb, a good hearty portion too. Excellent value to boot.
We had the turkey with the stuffing mashed potatoes and the gravy. It was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant when you are in Ireland.
