Mai Fitz in Lissarda

My cousin and I are on a road trip around Ireland. Our B&B host recommended this joint & it wins hands down. Even though the place was packed , tables were turned around quickly, staff were lovely & very attentive. Before I had my second sip of my beer, our meals were out - delicious and massive at a great price. Customer service was amazing & bar staff were pretty good looking. Beautiful Food and plentiful. Accommodated 8 of us on a very busy day (( St Patrick's Day) no prob , despir the place being very busy and packed . Food service very quick and lovely and hot and fresh

The food is delicious. The wait time is very short and the portions are very large. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Feel compelled to leave a 5 star review for this wonderful restaurant. I personally wouldn’t be a regular as city based but it’s a venue always used by extended family for confirmation lunch and this was what had me dining here a few weeks ago. From start to finish, the service and the food (both quality AND quantity) were top class and nothing was too much trouble - bear in mind we were a larger group and very often, service can suffer in such a scenario but not in our case. All I can say is if you find yourself on the N22 to Kerry, do yourself a favour and stop here for your food - and be hungry as the portions are huge!

Absolutely love coming here for lunch or evening meal. The food is top quality, generous portions, cooked to perfection. Staff are polite, friendly and efficient. Lovely cosy setting.

Food really really lovely... but the some of the staff are horrifyingly arrogant especially the lady behind the bar, and the two men. However the waitress and other bar staff are lovely. I just feel like if customers are spending there money at your restaurant maybe you should have better people skills. Id recommend for them to go on work experience at the bayleaf because they actually have manners.

What a great place to eat. Stopped on our wat back from cork city . We were lucky we got a table stright away as tables were filled once available. Its no wonder because the food was fabulous, all 3 courses. Food was served pipping hot & no delays. All was perfect. Staff were amazing, very efficient & friendly considering the volume of people getting served. A gem of a place on a busy road. Wheelchair friendly with easy access and parking. Will definitely dine here again .

Okay, if you want a roast dinner, there is literally NO WHERE better!! The service is truly amazing!!! We usually have our food arrive before our drinks (and that’s only because it takes a minute to pour a Beamish)! Service is excellent and the food is even better! Just go and have dinner and a pint! You will NOT regret it!!!
