Maid Of Erin in Listowel

Had a lovely toasted sandwich and tea. Very nice.

We chose this place because it is halfway between the Shannon Ferry and the Ring of Kerry. There are also the remains of a castle nearby. Even though we arrived at 2 pm, we had an Irish breakfast served, a large dish. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would describe it as an authentic Irish place, and not the usual restaurant for tourists.

Just popped in for lunch and had bacon and cabbage which was on the main menu. The food was top class. Really delicious. It was served with cabbage, carrot and parsnip and turnip, mashed potatoes and baby boiled potatoes. As always the staff were very nice and friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to returning for the fab breakfast and yummy griddle bread !

Lovely little spot, always spotless clean, friendly staff and good food at good prices. Highly recommended👍🏻
