We have been there two times so far. The food was excellent! The Service was good as well. Hopefully we can come for third round soon.

We popped into this place after leaving the Muckross park and we loved our food. The food was made well and the portions were above expectations. The fish was some of the best I had in Ireland and was cooked to perfection. The Irish Coffee hit the freaking spot after such a good meal.

Overall, a good pub but more of a “hotel tourist” sort of place and not typical for a good Irish pub. The menu is fairly good, and includes several vegetarian options, like a veggie burger, mushroom pasta, a Caesar salad, and grilled vegetables. They were out of Murphy’s stout, which surprised me, but I had read previous reviews about them being out of dark beers completely in the past. (What?? A pub that’s out of a favorite local beer?? Unheard of…) Obviously, they have not fixed that issue! Our service was good. We had good meals. The seafood chowder was probably the best that I have had in Ireland so far. Prices are high, but that is to be expected for this area with all of the tourists. If you are looking for an authentic Irish pub here, though, check out some other options.
