Delicious tofu black bean dish, I'm glad I came here! Thaks for doing a vegan menu 💚 Casual sit-in area facing the [bars on the] window, which makes for a good people-watching spot

If you like Asian food, you must come here to try the Singapore fried rice noodles and the eel pasta. The quick stir-fry flavor is impressive.

Probably the best restaurant we had in Ireland. Food was fire. Owner was so kind. Wish we were here longer so we could eat here again

Small hole in the wall restaurant. The food was good, but a bit sweet, and rather it have a bit more heat than sweetness. Overall was good and a nice break from the standard Irish pub food. Seating is very limited.

Tucked away in Cork City, Malay Kitchen delivers bold, authentic flavours with a warm welcome to match. The Nasi and Mee Goreng were standouts — rich in spice, cooked to order, and packed with that unmistakable wok hei. Portions were generous, and prices felt more than reasonable for the quality. Service was a real highlight: friendly, attentive, and genuinely inviting. Just a heads-up for dine-in — seating is minimal, with bar-style stools and space for only six, so it’s more of a quick bite than a long sit-down. The only slight letdown was the Mee Goreng sauce, which was a bit heavy and made the noodles softer than expected. Still, a great spot that punches well above its size, and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

The Leaping Salmon

10/10/2025: The pizza was not horrible. It's more of a pub with food. Then a place to go for dinner. Not many food options, but the prices were great, staff was really nice. I would go back again for a pint.
18/09/2025: 5 stars - A Splash-tastic Night at The Leaping Salmon! First off, the vibes are pure magic – cozy corners, friendly staff who treat you like your one of the locals! The pizza menu was filled with lots of comfort food (we shared the black pudding one). But the real star of the show? The weekly quiz night!

El Fenix Bar

14/06/2025: One of the cork bar scenes absolute gems, amazing pints of stout, bar staff are all absolutely spot on and the craic is unreal, from both the staff and the flora and fauna. One of the absolute best….
14/06/2025: El fenix is possibly the best bar in cork city. Every single member of staff makes sure to make you feel welcomed. Savage music, beautiful pints, best spot in the city
