Very nice cozy atmosphere and the chef is great. Food came out quickly. Some of the younger waiters are rude with no manners. If staying in the hotel this place is still a great place.

We celebrated our engagement with the three course meal at Mapas, and it was wonderful! Every course was delicious, filling with beautiful presentation. The staff was hospitable and accommodating, I highly recommend dining here and getting the 3 course meal.

15/01/2026: Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food is very hearty stuff too. Their bacon and cabbage is very flavorful and I don't know what they put in their parsley sauce but it's fantastic. Nice healthy cuts of ham too.

24/02/2026: From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our server knew the menu inside out and made great recommendations. The food was outstanding: each dish beautifully presented with bold, fresh flavors. We especially loved the perfectly cooked mains and the dessert was the best we’ve had in ages.
12/01/2026: Smashing boozer. Old school, comfy and embibing. Staff are lovely. Beamish on draft!!
