Marble City Grill in Kilkenny

25/07/2024: This is my second visit to this lovely bar and restaurant. The previous visit was a few months ago. I was delighted to see that nothing has changed. The food is still lovely. Fresh, tasty and hot. Great value too for the steak. The staff are all lovely. We interacted with 3 different staff members and they were all excellent. We had a young lad and a young girl both bringing our food and drinks and I must say they were great. Unfortunately I have found in other businesses nowadays alot of the younger staff don't be as good or appear not that interested in giving good customer service. But this definitely wasn't the case here. I'm sorry I didn't get their names but it was about 5.30/6.00pm on Tuesday of this week. They were both so helpful and it was little things like telling us what the specials were without us even having to ask which I found was great. Also we were a group of 5 and some wanted changes to the dish, mash instead of chips, different veg, separate sauce etc and all were done with no issues. We also dealt with another lovely man at the bar when he was taking our booking and he was really friendly.

16/04/2024: We popped in for lunch Tuesday food was good and the service excellent friendly staff One person accidentally spilled a full glass of red wine and this was replaced without charge and done without us asking Good service was a nice place which was busy Would return if ever in Kilkenny again
