Gorgeous hotel, rooms very clean, I definitely recommend. There was a lovely girl at the front desk, Katie I think her name was, she was very welcoming and helpful.

Stayed for a long weekend. Hotel lobby and bar is smart. Parking was a bit of a faff, as the machine didnt provide a ticket. Perhaps the hotel should give it's customers a code so they can come and go more easily? The room I was in was fine, but nothing special. It had a view of the roof at the front entrance but I suspect rooms on the other side have a better view of the surroundings. There was refurbishment work going on in adjacent rooms but not too disturbing. Breakfast was good and well organised.. one gripe, I used the downstairs sauna spa and it wasnt made clear anywhere there's an extra 25.euro.cost for that..

Great hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the train station & a nice walk to town. Loved the ice machine & water dispenser in the hallway. It even had sparkling water!! Outdoor hot tub was a nice touch. Our room came with breakfast which was incredible as well. So many offerings & choices. The only complaint is that the room was very hot, air conditioning did not work.

Just back from a one nite stay in the galmont. Beautiful hotel, but the rooms were ok. I did not like the bathroom. It could've done with a severe refurbishment. Definitely needs to be modernised. Very small and none of the little bits you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Our room was a good walk from the reception, bit of a maze. The beds were comfy but the pillows were way too soft. They just deflated when we lay on them. It was also extremely warm that nite , there was an air conditioner but it stopped working after a certain time which I thought was stupid. It was a nice stay but I'd probably stay somewhere else in future.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms but overwhelmed during bigger events (like GIAF), room service for a bottle of wine would be 90 minutes. Spa separated from the hotel even if booked on the same website

We received exceptional service and they helped to make a birthday extra special. The location is a bit out of the way from where we wanted to be. The rooms are adequate although a bit dated.

19/09/2024: I have a coffee or a beverage at Blake's Bar sometimes and I genuinely do like the staff. The manager is a gentleman. I was having a bad day today and he gave me a nice cup of tea without charging me. I was actually very touched by his act of generosity, kindness, Human Decency and Respect that let's be fair, most or nearly all workers in restaurant/bars, even cafes do lack nowadays. This is what's missing in people today but it's nice to see these traits are still in some people. It costs nothing to be nice and treat someone with respect! I'm very happy and comfortable to come here for my cuppa coffee or pint every day or two. The manager along with naturally friendly, working hard staff (including the chefs and kitchen porters in which I have the odd chat with) are great overall. Atmosphere is dead on, friendly and cheerful.Its a more than a top place to dine out in. Child/family friendly but people can have the craic having a few pints/cocktails too. The banter! There is a healthy balance of the place being sophisticated yet fun! Overall it's my favorite place to chill and have my cuppa coffee in by far! I would recommend 100% to all people.
