"Ethnic food" jackpot You know it's going to be good inner city food when the restaurant expands into the neighboring 19th century shopfront. The lone indoors menu is nowhere near the food ordering counter but the tried and true tactic of looking baffled and smiling at the crowd at the counter resulted in a great big chorus of "welcome, welcome"s, and someone informing me that we wanted to order the lamb shank with rice and glasses of watermelon juice. The bowl of tomato based red seems to be a sauce rather than a soup. Delicious enough to eat on its own. Meals came with complimentary bottles of water, small bananas, and cardamom sweet tea.

Excellent Somali food with great portions. Very reasonably priced too. Been here thrice in the span of a month.

We walked in and asked for enough food for 3 people to share. They served us a plate of rice, chicken, and lamb, a plate of salad, and 2 soups. It was incrediblely good. It was also priced onscenely well. People greeted us warmly and served us with smiles. It was such a positive overall experience.

The best place for a tasty and cost effective meal. The chicken suqaar is a must try dish and it's just like kuzhimanthi. I really felt like Kerala style Arabian food and the quantity was amazing. I just enjoyed it very much and I will recommend you to have a visit.
