Market House in Donegal

So I had heard of this restaurant from my parents who had gone to ireland a few years ago and all they had was rave reviews of this place. So when I got the chance to go with them this time, I jumped on it. The seven hour flight was worth it in my opinion. This place has a meal that you can order where you can cook your steak right in front of you on the table. Yeah I couldnt believe it either. Its a bit pricey, but come on where else can you say that you cooked your steak at your table on a hot stone. And the cut of beef was superb, I literally have nothing bad to say about this place. Take a chance, try it. Enjoy!!

Had the steak on the stone just to die for,lovely staff especially Anne really good.

We stayed at the Abbey Hotel and had dinner downstairs at the Market house in May 2023. I still think about the food we had that night! Especially the Fish Pie!

Good location, highly overrated, food catered to American seniors and overpriced. Go explore the other great restaurants and skip this one, unless your getting breakfast with your room
