The view from the Alfreco bar is perfect for watching the sunset. The manager Alvin is the most friendly guy also, superb service!

Lovely hotel, with great service. The heat during the stay just highlighted the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. Looking forward to staying here again

We we're on a tour of Ireland and only stayed in this hotel for 1 night, out of the 5 hotels we stayed in all over Ireland this was our favourite, the rooms we're spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The evening meal was amazing and served with well mannered young adults, The receptionist was welcoming and so organised. We would love to go back for a longer stay.

Very enjoyable stay and a base for exploring the Donegal coast. We had a quiet room overlooking the river which was great. Staff were welcoming and friendly and food was freshly cooked. There were some Indonesian dishes in the menu. Chicken satay and sizzling noodles recommended.

Great location and comfortable beds for reasonable price. Well appointed breakfast options and GREAT service professionals. Took a star because of thin pillows and watered down 2-in-1 bodywash/shampoo - unreasonable for management to cut those minuscule corners. But would still stay again if in area.

Traditional hotel in a great location right invite centre of Donegal. Staff really politand helpful. Rooms a bit tired typical of a hotel like this, not a negative in any way adds to the character of the place... nice bar with the odd live music night... would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well located, right on Donegal's main square. There's a large, very convenient public car park (paid parking from 9 am to 6 pm). Shops are right next door.
We didn't use the restaurant, only the breakfast room. The room was spacious but overlooked a courtyard and ventilation systems, so it was noisy all the time. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly. Be aware that if you're also coming for the swimming pool, it's advertised as being open all day, but this isn't true, as there are children's swimming lessons during the day (during my stay, from 10 am to 12 pm), and access to the pool isn't possible. The gym is a real bonus.
