One day, it’s the best fish and chips in all of Ireland; the next, it’s the worst. The quality of the fish is always high, but the execution is wildly inconsistent. I genuinely don’t understand why it fluctuates so much, sometimes it’s amazing, other times it’s terrible.

Fabulous Food with amazing flavours, the chef definitely deserves a recommendation for the wonderful flavours in the food presented. This is a gem and well worth a visit if you enjoy good quality food. Service and atmosphere was really relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our food from starters, main and desert, washed down the local 8°beer. So much so had to write a review and we will be back.

09/04/2025: I've stayed in the firgrove Hotel a good few times. The owner pat and all his staff are very friendly and helpful. You always feel very welcome no matter what time you visit. The food is very high quality and taste very. The location where the hotel is brillant and very easy to get to. They do a great country night of dancing nearly every second Month on a Friday night. Its a great night of entertainment.
05/04/2025: Just for food, didn't stay, but lovely, Clean, friendly staff, even though it was mothers day and they were extremely busy, really enjoyed the food. Lots to choose, user friendly, they were advertising music regularly 👍

28/02/2025: Great location and perfect for a night away. Elaine looked after everything from arrival to checkout. Fantastic service, and the breakfast was amazing. Will be back :)
