It was quiet when I came in at 3.30pm. Staff were lovely and very accommodating to our needs. All the plates were licked need I say more.

Stopped off at the Market Place yesterday with my husband and two kids. The food is absolutely delicious we are still talking about it. If you want to give your taste buds a treat definitely go there for food. You will not be disappointed. Service also brilliant and restaurant and toilets very clean.

Really incredible food and wine, so tasty and full of flavour. Excellent, friendly service. Relaxing chilled atmosphere. Our new favourite restaurant! Would highly recommend a visit. A hidden gem.

14/10/2025: Had a christening here this week, it was my first time ever coming in here and saying I was impressed is an understatement. The food was gorgeous id the wings and the beef brisket. Honestly the nicest food I've had in years. There were roughly 24 of us for the meal and there wasn't a single complaint everyone loved it. Service was excellent too I can't wait to go back!

30/08/2025: Wow what a gem. This place was hands down the nicest accommodation on our trip and we stayed in higher end places. The owners were fantastic and engaging and the manager was very helpful. It’s nestled in the back of a neighborhood in Mitchelstown (walking distance to town)The property is an expansive oasis hosting red deer and other farm animals. From the time you enter the big wrought iron gates to the time you leave you are taken care of. They will sometimes host a wine tasting in their private cellar of some of their own wines produced in Hungary (outstanding) if you get the chance. You would need to arrange in advance. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the bed and shower were the best… If I could rate it 10 stars I would We will be back ……
