Food was nice and hot , they make the food really quick so they dont care about draining excess oil from chips or chicken.. so careless , 0 hygiene .. i saw the employees putting their hands in the food after digging their ear such a disgusting experience.. all 3 workers i saw had no gloves and just putting their hands in food with 0 hesitation absolutely disgusting

23/03/2025: We went for a long walk in Avondale Forest and were just looking for a quick bite nearby. Man, what a gorgeous surprise! It was my son's girlfriend's birthday and we couldn't have stumbled upon better food. Creme of chicken had a lovely coconut twist. The pate was great. The starter prawns were spicy and full-flavoured. The steak was juicy, the burgers flavourful and the linguini fresh. Dessert menu was really good, everything fresh. We will definitely be back!
29/12/2024: We had a beautiful meal in Bates Restaurant. It was a lovely atmosphere, food delicious and service charming. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Deirdre Siobhan and Marian.
