Absolutely superb meal, we were a group of 6, out for a celebratory meal. Not a single negative, food beautifully presented and the flavours were just top class.

Had a superb meal with 4 family members who travelled from other parts of Ireland. I had the braised lamb with mash and gravy. It was Fantastic. My wife loved her Sirloin steak.
I used to be a regular visitor to this fine establishment before the motorway was opened. I was staying in the area recently and decided to pay it a visit to see was if it was as good as ever! I certainly wasn't disappointed! From the moment we arrived (without a reservation 😊) we were made feel very welcome by the fabulous hostess who went out of her way to accommodate us. The food was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place. But please save them the headache and make a reservation! Well done all and thank you.
Came for lunch with family when over from the UK. Really nice looking pub, narrow with the tables quite tight together, but full of character. Food was generally good, portions a little small so could be more generous.

Absolutely beautiful setting for an early dinner. The restaurant is spotless and freshly painted. The outside still in the last of summer bloom but the flower boxes and hanging bashed are always so beautiful in the middle of this quaint village.
Our waitress Lisa was so pleasant and friendly. She was full of fun and quick to respond to every little request. Service staff like Lisa are a huge asset to the experience at Matt’s.
Food was top notch. The mussels were delicious with a really light but flavorful white wine sauce and crispy garlic bread. The Pate was silky smooth with beautiful berry compote served with fresh crispy bread.
The burger was juicy tasty and cooked to perfection. The fish was delicious hot, crispy, light and thin batter and the chips were as crispy to match. Served with lovely what I think might be homemade tartar salad and minted peas. Very reasonably priced, great quality and fantastic waiting staff in a stunning setting what more could you as for
