McCafferty's in Donegal

Immense, and when I say that, I mean absolutely enormous. Bars, tables, and areas for live musicians everywhere... In fact, when the singer who was performing when we arrived finished, a singer started playing, and we thought it was recorded music, but it turned out to be another performer in a different part of this "venue." It's almost like a street lined with bars and covered by a roof, it's so big. An impressive place in Donegal, which, by the way, is a town with fewer than three thousand inhabitants. They were probably all there, although there are other venues nearby. A must-visit.

McCaferty's Pub was one of our favorites on our recent trip to Ireland. We spent 3 evenings there and had a lovely time! The live music was fantastic, the bartenders friendly and the locals very friendly. Best of all, the guinness was spot on! We highly recommend a visit!

I went there by chance to take shelter from the rain one late morning. It was a lovely discovery—a place with original decor and great music that made me want to stay longer…

€19 for a bowl of stew that was more like a child's portion. I found 4 bits of beef in it. So basically it was gravy mash and veg with a bit of beef thrown in for good measure. You need to at least make the bowls resemble an adult portion and stop ripping people off. €19 seriously

Beautiful bar very surprised by the size looks like 3 different bars from the front but very spacious inside. Outdoor beer garden with great big screen for sports and lots of TVs and big screen also inside. And most importantly a Great pint of Guinness

We had a very delicious carvery that was priced very well.With a very lovely server Paddy. Highly recommend it.

We have been to a few of the mc.caffertys bars and restaurant and couldn't recommend them enough definitely worth a visit

The food wasn't as good as I had expected. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming.

Very lively place food good and service fantastic especially the fact they were so busy great experience
