Just called in for few drinks on night out as a tourist in the town. Thought the place was energetic and lively and staff were friendly. Lots of space, good live band was on. Good place in my opinion but I'm not the pub type so I'm not expert.

We came for lunch on a Sunday. The decor is local, the service is quick and friendly. My salmon was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were tasty, and the fries were crispy.

A small pub on the outside but enormous inside with what seems like its own street complete with phone box. It's full of pub memorabilia that you could study for hours. We were lucky that Thursday night has live music and the fiddler and father and daughter acoustic guitarists gave a terrific evening of traditional Irish tunes and more modern songs with an Irish twist.
