Great lively pub, with a lovely upstairs lounge 🍺

We stopped by last Friday afternoon whilst in town shopping. firstly I have to say the staff were a joy to interact with, polite and very helpful. as you can imagine for a warm, dry Friday afternoon the watering hole was full of locals and tourists which made for a great atmosphere. The pint of Guinness was very good and not too pricey at €7.20 for the location. It was great for myself and herself to sit at the bar and try to identify the characters in the old photos. I would definitely recommend you drop in for a pint if near by, I will definitely be back soon.

Guinness without ifs or buts....

It was a pleasant atmosphere, but people kept smoking in the doorway, which was unpleasant. The bartender kindly asked the two gentlemen twice to move, but they didn't go far. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for a pint. There is some neat history on the walls to read about.

Awesome pub. Been here a few times on the trip. I’ve seen it dog friendly and kid friendly during the day. Just a great place to grab a pint.

1st visit, definitely be returning Traditional Irish pub, not many frills but plenty of decent Guinness. Nice atmosphere, cheery staff, reasonably priced
