McDermott's Pub in

Perfect place to rest and enjoy a meal and a drink.

We visited McDermott Pub on September 24th, 2024 and the atmosphere and energy that evening was quite special..a full house of customers deeply interested in Irish music responded to this band this evening.. as we arrived the clapping and joy of response was so good to hear...our evening was special..

Excellent food, friendly service and very relaxed, cozy and comfortable atmosphere

Lots of people until 1:30 p.m. then very quiet, well received and full! Renowned in Doolin

Like all of Doolin attracts lots of tourists but McDermott’s managed to keep a nice vibe and had the most locals of the pubs we visited in Doolin Served the best pint of Guiness we had in Doolin and enjoyed a nice informal music session All the pubs in Doolin are along one main road but spread out over a mile so if you’re planning a pub crawl take some hiking boots or pinch a wee donkey

Fantastic live music, BEST Guinness chocolate cake. Period. Go there. Order the cake, and plan to stay for the music. You're welcome.

We come here for the music every time we come to Doolin. This is a nice and cozy traditional Irish pub. In addition to great music, you will also find good food and beer.

We stopped in here for a bite and drink. The Bangers & Mash were pretty good, but the Vegetarian Fajitas were way to spicy (really hot, even for my tastes) upon asking about this, the fellow stated that it varies now and then ¯_(ツ)_/¯ We stopped in a couple of days later for a pint, but it was so full, that we couldn't find a spot. The staff was very friendly, so maybe again next time.
