Exceptional pub. When we arrived, it was packed and we had to wait a quarter of an hour. They offered to share a table with another American couple, providing a chance to socialize. The food was excellent; try the stew, it's worth it. They serve food until 9:30 PM, after which they give way to music. I think there are different performers every night. In our case, we listened to a famous Irish bagpipe player along with two other musicians, and needless to say, they were brilliant. You can really feel the Irish spirit of joy and conviviality.

Honestly the best food we’ve had in Ireland. Got the Irish stew and cottage pie, both highly recommended. Be warned, the stew will ruin all other stews for you. The richness and flavour is unmatched and we have not been able to find anything close to it anywhere else in Ireland

We had the McDermott's 9 Ounce Irish Beef Burger at McDermott’s Pub and it was really tasty. It was juicy, well prepared and served with care. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it a great stop in Doolin.

Fast and food was good. I walked up from the tour that’s forced into Mcganns because they didn’t have anything I could eat. McDermotts had a better selection more space, and nicer staff. They also catered to my diet restrictions. The sandwich was delicious, chips perfect. If we come back I’m not following the herd, I’m going back to McDermotts. Also they have sticky toffee pudding!!

Nice little place, a classic pub where you can eat quite well, prices are quite reasonable, a place for young and old alike.

We stopped in and it was the best surprise of the day. Traditional pub with maybe the biggest piece of fish I have had in years with the fish and chips. Great atmosphere in a town that is already off the charts. if you are in Doolin you have to try it

Stopped by a day tour (Cliffs of Moher, Galwy etc.) at this nice irish pub.
The tour planned to stop at the other pub called McGanns, but they were so unfriendly that we went to this nice pub.
Awesome Guinness for a very very fair price, friendly bartenders and a pretty pub.
