I love that you can choose the fish that you want. The quantities are amazing. my friends and I had a hard time finishing our plates, and we are big eaters. The staff is welcoming and helpful. There are a lot of people, so dining in can be difficult, but it is totally worth it. I took the haddock with a supplement of garlic sauce.

Came to this place because a lot of people on YouTube kept mentioning this place. The fries were good, but the fish did not have any flavor. Another thing that bothered me, was the rude young lady who took my order. She seemed bothered when I asked her if the fish and chips came with sauce.

Absolutely fab cosy old style restaurant. The food was delicious. Go thete and have a freshly made fish soup and all kinds of fresh fishies! I reccomend this place 100stars!

I loved the staff; they were incredibly friendly, doing their best to understand my basic English and to make sure I understood them too. They recommended which fish to order (because there you can choose the fish you want, unlike other places where you don't know what you're getting) and even where to sit so we'd stay warm. We actually found them on our first day in Ireland, at a bad time, and went in just for the sake of it, but the place was a very pleasant surprise. Especially the staff.

It's basically a fish fast food place, lots of chips and maybe too few shrimp, but they're very fresh, maybe some paper towels would be useful, there's a lot of people coming and going, fresh fish, too many chips.

16/11/2025: Fabulous stay here over the weekend πŸ˜€ great room and facilities super value for money πŸ’° all staff were kind and helpful and after a minor issue with the shower they sorted this straight away so will defo be back πŸ˜€ thank you
15/11/2025: On the positive side, the rooms are of good standard and the beds are comfortable. On the negative side, we could not get hot water for showers when we arrived in the early evening and we could not contact the reception, or the various assistance numbers given. In the morning, the shower water was only barely warm. For a basic hotel with no extra amenities charging €200 a night, hot water should be a very basic thing to ensure guests have ready access to. Even a basic hostel ensures that their guests have hot showers. I got the impression that the hotel is more of a side business to what is a very good restaurant and that the restaurant staff are looking after the hotel on the side, which leaves the hotel a bit neglected from a service perspective.

01/01/2026: Perfect for a family break close to the city. Son loved pool, kids club and spacious reception area. Staff were friendly and excellent service. Great stay.
