McGann's Pub in

Thankfully our tour stopped here for lunch and I’m so glad it did because we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was wonderful and the food was some of the best we had while in Ireland. We each ordered different meals so we could sample a few things and it was all delicious (the beef stew, seafood chowder and mushroom Vol-au-Vent). We’d been eating most of our meals at our hotels, which while tasty, lacked the “homemade” and “traditional Irish” feeling, so this was a treat for us. I wish we’d been staying nearby because I’d have loved to hang out in the evenings when they had live music. Huge shoutout to Bernard for being an absolute gem!

Visited with a big coach tour and the service was exceptional, friendly and the food fabulous. I had the chowder, inexpensive and hot and delicious. I would love to return for music and more time than the coach trip restraints allowed but totally recommend. Thank you
