Fantastic pub. Lovely atmosphere. Table service, even if its just drinks. Wonderfully friendly staff. Definitely recommend popping in when in the neighborhood. Top place for a Guinness

Popped down here on a whim as it was close to my hotel. The local pub atmosphere for my first night in Dublin was great, the food and service were warm and the Dublin coddle felt like a hug in a bowl.

Breakfast at McGettigans has become a key part of my weekend for the last year now. I think it's a hidden gem in Smithfield. Excellent ingredients cooked with care and consistency is all we can ask for. The team also make McGettigans a go-to spot. Regardless of if I arrive alone or with a group, I always get a warm welcome and excellent service. It all goes down to Paul, the Manager who coordinates everything expertly. It's great to see a great working relationship with all the staff amd they treat each other with as much respect as their customers. Definitely worth a visit for food, nice coffee and a great atmosphere. Selection of music is also very authentic for the area. Big thanks to the team for looking after me each week!
