Great food, good beer, and friendly staff. Nice pub. Kitchen closed after 6:00 PM.

Fantastic local spot with great atmosphere! McGowan's of Harold's Cross is an absolute gem. Whether you're popping in for a casual pint, catching up with friends, or watching a match, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly, attentive, and really make you feel at home. Great selection of drinks, and the food is consistently delicious—especially their wings and burgers. It’s clear that the team takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend for anyone in the area or just passing through. Looking forward to my next visit!

Nice open pub that also has a large snug area. Pleasant staff and a good range of beers. Scarcity of nearby parking is an issue though
