I love this shop. It's so big and bright and everything is easy to find. Great selection of foods and I love the Vegan options too!

Great selection of food in general but in particular the gluten and dairy free isle. Weekly Vouchers if you sign up which really helps with the shop.

Clean, variety and valu...great staff. Fresh produce, self service Check out so no waiting, and helpful friendly staff, There is also a lovely cafe, food is yum. Cafe was our savior after the storm, no power at home so it was a haven and food freshly cooked and delicious.

Stopped while passing through Loughrea it was my first time in the store. Very impressive layout bright and clean. Ended up doing a bigger shop than intended. Bought some of the prepack chicken and veg and lasagne and fish pie all of which have been used and enjoyed. Would consider stopping again when passing

I like McInerney's, it's a good shop. It's always clean, well-maintained, has friendly and helpful staff and is well organised. My only complaint would be with the taps in the bathrooms. In the men's bathroom the tap shoots water out at the pressure of a fire-hose and in the women's bathroom allegedly the water only thinly trickles from the tap.

Roots Café & Bistro, Loughrea

14/04/2025: Arrived just before menu changed from breakfast. We were handed the breakfast menu and kids were so excited deciding what to get only for a waitress to come over and tell us they're not serving breakfast anymore and handed us the afternoon menu. If this wasn't unprofessional enough we were then told that we had to wait 20 minutes for the chef to get ready for the new menu. I don't think this is the norm and I'm assuming they have a very unorganised chef or one that likes to show everyone they're the boss? Food was lovely as it always is in roots but the experience in this particular one (we normally go to Oranmore or Kilcolgan) left a sour taste and I wouldn't go back to Loughrea in a hurry.
05/04/2025: At first I thought it was a small bit overpriced for Loughrea (versus Galway or Dublin €) but he food, friendliness and service is well worth it and generous, well cooked, well presented servings. Spacious and clean and wonderful light and view.

05/05/2025: My pasta was good but my wife's pork balsamico was tough and dried. Not a good dish, in my opinion. Clumsy favors; protein was low quality. Nice folks.
12/04/2025: Real ITALIAN restaurant in Ireland... Fantastic fish dishes and real Italian pizza made by a Neapolitan pizza chef... What can I say, if you want to eat well, this place is truly recommended!
