I spent an exceptional evening at McLaughlin's Bar - the people, music (trad session), drinks and the venue itself were just amazing! I'll never forget it. 100% recommended! If you're in Sligo it's a MUST. It felt so authentic and I was stunned by the Irish hospitality. Thanks so much to everyone, especially to Myriam :)

McLaughlins Bar was time well spent. We stopped in for a Thursday Night Trad session and had a wonderful time. Music was fantastic, the conversations were easy to come by and the bartender made everyone feel at home. Grab a pint, sing a song, crack a joke but most importantly don't miss a night at McLaughlins. Beer was good too.

I've never experienced anything like this before. 20 musicians sat in two rows at a table, playing music and singing together. The atmosphere was fantastic. The ambiance was superb. This pub surpassed everything.

A quaint pub with flair, where locals and tourists mix and enjoy a good drink over Guinness. Live music, gigs, and reels every Thursday. We'll be back on our next visit to Ireland.

It‘s a very lovely location with wonderful people. So many people coming in and playing traditional Irish music together. Everyone was welcome to participate. Miriam is awesome! She makes everyone feel like being at home. So sad that we couldn’t stay for more days.

Such a cool little pub! Super cozy vibes and the staff were awesome—they even showed us how to pour our own pints, which was a blast. Felt really welcome the whole time. Definitely coming back!

11/11/2025: Love this hotel got a fantastic balcony room it was outstanding got a lovely treat as we were celebrating 40th wedding anniversary, the hotel is so central in Sligo, private parking underneath hotel a small fee for secure parking. Our meal was beautiful and breakfast was outstanding too can’t wait to go back. The hotel staff was outstanding and attentive great hotel to visit.

14/12/2025: Probably the best burger in Sligo. We had the American Dream called burger Rebel burger and cheese curry chips. Everything was beautiful especially the burgers! Negative side that they are open only from 3pm...
11/12/2025: Nice wee hipster spot. Food ok, a bit overrated, nice folk though, hard to beat the sligo heads. There is another burger place in sligo but its absolutely awful, avoid the dirty dog joint.
