McMahons Bar (Murts) in Ennistymon

25/10/2024: The hotel is very nice and is on a hill, a small river flows around it, the surroundings are very nice and if you go into the village which is a short walk away there is a great pub and his name is Eugen. . The owner is a great guy, he used to collect various business cards and the whole bar is plastered with them 🤩🤩 The hotel is nice, but the inside needs to be renovated, especially the rooms and bathrooms, otherwise everything is great

21/09/2024: We stayed at The Falls Hotel and Spa the weekend we eloped and got married on The Cliffs of Moher. Our stay was great, staff were all super friendly. The food was amazing, some of the best short rib I’ve ever had! The night we got married we went back to the hotel and posted up at the bar and had a great time. Dean the bartender at the time took great care of us, went above and beyond, even secretly requested a first dance song for us with the musician that was playing at the time. All in all it was a great stay. Location is great as well. We looked initially at staying in Doolin, but after visiting both, we are really happy with our choice!
