One of the best pubs I’ve been in Ireland. Great atmosphere! The owners are such a nice couple that makes you feel at home, and the service is great! Perfect to gather with friends, family, partner or just to stop by for a drink. And it has a billiard hall and a music box!!

28/11/2025: Great staff and service and the food was a delight. Our host Nicola was the best, she really looked after us. I normally dont post but we had such a good time. Michael
24/11/2025: Drove from Naas to give this restaurant a try as under new management. Unfortunately it was not good. Food was unimaginative and very poor. Service was ok but very rushed, I think staff need more training, table not reset between courses, we had to ask for cutlery for our main courses, also I must agree with other reviews that the bathrooms are not well maintained. This is such a pity as we were really hoping to have another go to restaurant on our list.

The Riverside Restaurant

20/08/2025: What can I say about The River Café, the food is always excellent, and Paul the owner is an absolute gentleman. He works hard alongside his friendly, hardworking team, and it really shows. The coffee is the best around, and I often stop in as I work just up the road, it’s a real gem to have on our doorstep. I love that there’s a great choice of breads, and the breakfasts are both delicious and plentiful. I usually go for a ciabatta for lunch with a mix of fillings, and it never disappoints. Great value for money and highly recommended. If you’re passing by, definitely pop in!
01/06/2025: Kilcullen is so fortunate to have such a great cafe as this. Plenty of options, such a great asset to the town.
