Lovely food, but the prices are very optimistic for the location. More expensive than some equivalent Dublin places.

We recently had a family party in the banquet room and it was absolutely perfect! The staff were lovely, there wasn’t long to wait for drinks or food, and we had a brilliant time! We’ve also been for meals on other occasions, and it’s always a great experience. Thank you to Declan and all!

02/04/2025: It's a nice place staff are super friendly and helpful a very family feel for this place great for young children.. Food is nice nothing special but it is tasty would recommend no problem.. Price wise it's a little pricey for what it is but overall a good experience

Chapter Food & Living Cavan

23/04/2025: Myself and my wife stopped there for lunch today and I was blown away. We both only had soup and sandwiches and were really surprised how good the food was. Soup ( leek and potato) was fantastic if I was to be critical it could have been passed but that is just me looking for something to complain about. The sandwiches were great we had an Italian and a bacon and chicken with hot sauce and blue both on sour dough and they were great. If I’m ever near this place again I will make sure to go back
19/04/2025: Chapter one is the only place to eat in Cavan .. constant consistency with food , super value , large portions , staff trained very well and Grainne the owner is a true lady greets all her customers and makes sure that we are all looked after and happy 😊. Nothing lasts long enough to get a pic it is tuck right in . Steak sandwich is a must
