Meadow View Inn in Cavan

Food was amazing, big portions. However, service wasn't the best. We were there at 7.30 and even though it closes at 11pm, we felt unwelcome to stay with staff ignoring our table and having to be called constantly over to take the orders. While having a full bar, no option of cocktail orders. It felt like they were just counting down for us to leave. The only person who seemed welcoming was a dark haired lady who came up to our table a few times to check on us, but the younger staff kept ignoring unless we called them over.. Husband had scampi and was sick following day..

My wife and I were lucky enough to visit recently and would certainly recommend it. Lovely indoor and outdoor area, great food, but the icing on the cake was the great staff. Thank you for looking after us so well and looking forward to a return visit.

We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff were so welcoming, and the waitresses were absolutely brilliant attentive, kind, and friendly throughout the evening. The atmosphere was lovely, and the restaurant even allowed us to play our own music, which made the celebration extra special. 🎶💃 It’s a beautiful place to enjoy good food, great service, and create lasting memories. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the perfect spot to celebrate!

A pannei and chips 12 euro is absolutely ridiculous and was nothing special a sandwich and a few chips as dear as a dinner how does that make any sense wouldn't return didn't like the girl looking after us and too expensive for what it was
