Overpriced mediocre food. Went for a turkey dinner and it cost 20 euros only to come with some pureed carrot which was actually nice, and measly pees which were most likely frozen. A Sunday dinner shouldn't include pees. A proper roast dinner should have carrots, cabbage or turnip. Prices are higher than a lot of places in Dublin. And on top of that, they are too miserable to add roast potatoes to the meal. Very underwhelming food for the price.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Service was warm and friendly. We ordered spicy πŸ”₯ wings, steak sandwich and fried chicken. Side salad was delicious. The steak sandwich πŸ˜‹ is perfectly cooked with buttery garlic bread along with sauteed onions and mushrooms. Fried chicken was served with chips and salad.

We were out with a group of friends (8) the staff were fantastic, they were so attentive and everything came out from the kitchen really fast. Great, tasty, quality food and there was loads of it, they even brought out loads of extra chips for the table. This was my first time to visit Meadow View but we will return 100%.

11/06/2026: It’s a great place to eat and catchup with friends and family variety of food and drinks and also very scenic upstairs.
11/06/2026: Had a grand old Full Irish here. Alas it wasn't as 'full' as I'd have liked with no Black or White Pudding, or a fried tomato. Not that I personally would look for them, there were also no mushrooms. Otherwise everything was nicely cooked and served well. Table service was also very fast (maybe a little too fast πŸ€” did we cook from scratch??). There was one check in before I'd started and I was then left alone. It's a nice spot but lacked any atmosphere on my visit as the place was pretty empty. I'd an Oatmilk latte alongside my food, which was nice. All in I paid €14 so not overly expensive but not cheap either.

02/12/2025: Lovely quite bar we found,Very friendly staff. Lovely pint off Guinness, and Coors i was drinking.Not bad price aswell.will be returning.
24/09/2025: Best bar in Cavan Town for Live Music and Craic.
